How to Unblock Browser Downloads
When your browser blocks a file download (e.g., TMProxyManager.zip), it is usually due to a built-in security feature. This guide shows you how to disable download blocking on popular browsers.
Warning!
Disabling download blocking may expose you to malicious files. Only disable it when you are certain the downloaded file is safe.
Google Chrome
Method 1: Disable Safe Browsing
Open Settings
Click the ⋮ (three vertical dots) icon in the top-right corner → select Settings.

Go to Privacy and security → Security
Select Privacy and security → Security.

Disable Safe Browsing
Choose No protection (not recommended) → click Turn off to confirm.

Method 2: Allow blocked files
If you don’t want to disable Safe Browsing, you can allow individual files:
File blocked
When Chrome blocks a file, you will see a red notification. Click the ⋮ icon next to it → select Download dangerous file.

Confirm download
Click Download dangerous file to confirm.

Download successful
The file has been downloaded successfully.

Microsoft Edge
Open Settings
Click the ⋯ (three horizontal dots) icon in the top-right corner → select Settings.

Go to Privacy, search, and services → Security
Select Privacy, search, and services → click Security.

Disable protection
Toggle Protect from harmful sites and downloads to Off.

Mozilla Firefox
Open Settings
Click the ☰ (three horizontal lines) icon in the top-right corner → select Settings.

Go to Privacy & Security → Security
Select Privacy & Security → scroll down to the Security section. You will see the checkboxes are enabled.

Uncheck protection options
Uncheck all of the following:
- Block dangerous and deceptive content
- Block dangerous downloads
- Warn you about unwanted and uncommon software

Brave Browser
Open Settings
Click the ☰ icon in the top-right corner → select Settings.

Go to Privacy and security → Security
Select Privacy and security → Security.

Disable Safe Browsing
Choose No protection (not recommended).
